PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect the following:
- Certain information about your device
- Information about your web browser
- IP address

- Some of the cookies that are installed on your device
Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect:

We collect and store your email address when you opt-in to our newsletter or opt-in to receive email notifications when products are updated. With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
When you register with our site by creating an account we collect and store your name, email address, and billing address. You may log into your account to edit your information. Your credit card number is not stored in your account. Each time you make a purchase you must enter your credit card number, we do not store this information. If you wish to close your account you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will respond to closure requests within 30 days.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for delivery, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
- Provide services such as rewards programs
- Read your order history when logged into your account to prevent duplicate purchases
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH TRUSTED THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Whimsy Clips uses Mailchimp to send our newsletters. Within Mailchimp we collect and store data such as your name and email address. We may also utilize technology that allows us to track the clicks and open rate of our newsletters.

All email subscribers must manually subscribe to our newsletter. We also utilize the double-opt in feature, which requires each subscriber to confirm their subscription to our newsletter before being added.
You may opt out of Whimsy Clips newsletter by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. You may also contact us at email@example.com to notify us that you no longer wish to receive our newsletter.
BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISINGAs described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.
